Can you hold a recurring weekly slot for our chapter meeting?
Yes — many TM chapters book a recurring weekly 2-hour slot. We hold the slot for the calendar year. WhatsApp +852 4423 7445 with day, time, and number of weeks. Series of 12+ meetings qualifies for an additional 5% off on top of the 10% TM discount.
What layouts work best for TM chapter meetings?
Most chapters use theatre style (rows facing the lectern) for 15–25 attendees, or U-shape for 12–18 attendees so evaluations are face-to-face. We pre-set the layout. Lectern position is pre-marked with floor tape. Timing lights (green/yellow/red) can be placed visibly to speakers.
Is the venue suitable for Speech Contest delivery?
Yes. Contest setup includes: contestant briefing area (lobby outside Rm 533A), separate judges room (booked as add-on), timing position with line-of-sight to speaker, chief judge table, ballot-counting corner. Capacity up to 30. We pre-set the room 30 min before contest start for chief judge briefing.
Can guest speakers join remotely via Zoom?
Yes — fast WiFi (200+ Mbps) supports stable Zoom / Teams for hybrid TM meetings. The 75-inch wall display mounts the remote speaker's video. Many chapters host distinguished Toastmasters from other districts as guest evaluators via Zoom.
Is there a recording option for Pathways video assignments?
Yes — bring your own camera/phone on tripod. We don't record on your behalf (privacy / chain-of-custody). Good acoustics, no AC hum, 75-inch display can show the timing clock while a separate camera captures the speaker. Pathways Level 2 / 3 video assignments are commonly recorded here.
Can we book for COT or TLI?
Yes. Quarterly COT typically books 3-hour block (HK$900 after 10% TM discount). TLI sessions book half-day or full-day cap. Multi-club joint COTs across an Area or Division can also book here.
What about catering for chapter meetings or after-meeting fellowship?
External catering allowed at no surcharge — many chapters pre-order light dinner from Pret, Maxim's, or local TST. Pacific Coffee 1/F is the most common after-meeting fellowship spot.
